Je leven te leven op wat voor jou echt belangrijk is.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><strong>Wat houdt ACT in?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>Acceptatie:<\/em><br>Het leren accepteren van vervelende gedachten en gevoelens in plaats van ze te bestrijden<br><em>Commitment:<\/em><br>Het richten van je aandacht en energie op zaken die voor jou waardevol zijn en het nemen van acties die in lijn zijn met je waarden.<br><em>Psychologische flexibiliteit:<\/em><br>Het vermogen om je aan te passen aan uitdagende situaties en emoties, terwijl je tegelijkertijd betekenisvolle keuzes maakt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Er zijn zes processen:<\/strong><br>De zes processen van Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) zijn acceptatie, defusie, contact met het heden, zelf als context, waarden en toegewijde actie. Het kan ook worden gebruikt om meer veerkracht te ontwikkelen en een meer betekenisvol leven te leiden, zelfs met beperkingen.<\/p><p class=\"p1\"><strong>Verschil met andere therapie\u00ebn:<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"p1\">In tegenstelling tot sommige andere therapie\u00ebn, is ACT niet gericht op het veranderen of vermijden van vervelende gedachten of gevoelens, maar op het leren accepteren en ermee omgaan. Elke sessie duurt een uur en volgt een vaste opzet. Er wordt gestart met een korte introductie van de ACT-vaardigheid waarbij er tekst en uitleg wordt gegeven over de vaardigheid.<\/p><p>Tevens zal elke sessie een ge\u00efllustreerde ACT-metafoor bevatten ter aanvulling op deze uitleg. Echter, met begrip alleen ontwikkel je de vaardigheid natuurlijk niet. Daarom ga je ook zelf aan de slag. zelf middels verschillende ACT-oefeningen.
